Q: How many systems will be provided?
A: HarborTouch will supply, for FREE, as many as need in your location. The actual number of systems is based on seating capacity and number of wait staff.
Q: Who does the installation and training?
A: The systems will be delivered to your location programmed, menus loaded, and fully tested. Upon receipt, certified technicians will be scheduled, at your convenience, to do the complete installation and training.
Q: How does the system communicate?
A: The system requires broad band connectivity to communicate and process data. "Dial – up" does not work on our networks. If there is a loss of internet connectivity, the system will still function. However, credit card transactions require the internet to process.
Q: How long does it take to install?
A: Because the systems arrive fully programmed and loaded, it usually takes a minimal amount of time for each system setup.
Q: Is it easy to add, delete or change menu items or products?
A: HarborTouch uses an SQL database. All changes can be done with a few key strokes. Changes only need to be done one time. They will instantly be modified on all systems simultaneously. Lastly, the changes can be made at a system in the location or remotely, wherever the internet is accessible.
Q: Suppose I need customer support?
A: We pride ourselves in customer service. It is available 24/7 – 365 days per year.
Q: What do I do if a piece of hardware fails?
A: Our total system is warranted for as long as you use it. A $59.00 monthly warranty fee, per system, is required. You will never have to pay for a repair or replacement.
Q: Suppose there are new software upgrades, how do I get them?
A: Periodically software upgrades become available to enhance your system. You will be notified of these events and be required to get the new upgrades. This will guarantee that you are always operating with the latest version of HarborTouch. The cost of this service is $59.00 per quarter.
Q: Will the necessary acceptance of a credit card processing account effect my rates?
A: A merchant credit card processing account is required. The negotiated rates and fees will be based on your volume and business type. Of course, they will be aggressive and competitive.
